20th National Oral History Conference

In 2003, the Oral History Association of South Africa (OHASA), was born out of a merger of two programmes sharing the same objectives. These were the National Oral History Programme (NOHP) and the National Indigenous Music Programme (NIMP). In 2023, OHASA will turn twenty. To celebrate, reflect, take stock, share rare moments, and map the future, OHASA will hold a 20th Anniversary Conference in 2023. The 20th Anniversary Conference is a moment for both celebration and reflection on the journey travelled this far, under the overarching theme: Memories and Stories of our Time.
