Christina Landman has been teaching in ecclesiastical and oral history at the University of South Africa for 42 years, having obtained seven degrees of which two are doctorates in history and therapy respectively. She retired in 2021 and are active mainly in oral history projects, as well as in being the minister of the Word (URCSA) in Karlienpark, Rustenburg. She has been an active member of the Oral History Association of South Africa (OHASA) since 2006. In 2010 she became OHASA’s Head of Publications, a position she still holds. She was the Editor of the Oral History Journal of South Africa until 2018, when it became Social Memory Studies (HTS, accredited). She has engaged in a variety of oral history projects, for instance on the history of Nana Sita. She has also written the history of OHASA which was in its 20 th year of existence in 2023.
