Bio

Calda de Vries is Secretary of the Oral History Association of South Africa. She is employed within the Oral History sub directorate of the KwaZulu-Natal Archives and Records Service in the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (in KwaZulu-Natal). She has over ten years’ experience in the public sector managing oral history research projects and monitoring & evaluation with the archives. She is an archivist, oral history practitioner, researcher and life long learner.
